Make sure you have all of the information pertaining to your project. What size images do you need? Will they be printed or simply viewed on screen? Is the use of colour necessary? Who is your contact person? Do you have reference documentation for the artist? Will you be using the illustration for purposes other than this particular project? What is your budget? Who will be making the final decisions?
